What persuasion is not…
What is persuasion? It is a multi-faceted jewel that enables an individual to enrich listener’s lives. What is the act of persuasion? It is akin to a Swiss army knife–a single unit comprised of different tools encased for the sole purpose of expediency of effort. A round-about way of saying you have many “things” you can do to enhance your rhetorical prowess. However, they must be executed with full understanding how they are best employed. If used effectively, a competent rhetor can emerge. If not, an annoying jester of his audience’s time.
