After reading this section in Pullmans book, I tried to relate some of his terms and concepts to the law.  In a couple of my Law classes they stress the fact that there is two sides of the a story and one can always argue that side. Monomeres are subjects and issues that do not require a debate. Meaning nothing can counteract against the issue because there would be no evidence against it. Now applying this term to the concept of law is where it didn’t seem to correlate. If law is about persuasion as well how can we tie together the term monomeres and law?
